Billings Owned and Operated
Billings Photos originated in Billings Montana. In March 2022, we opened the platform to the entire state. Our goal is simply to be a resource for local photographers and creatives to connect with companies across the country through commercial stock photography.
I made a sale, when should I expect to get paid?
We process payouts within two business days of the 15th of each month. Once the payment has been sent to your account it may take an additional two business days to show up. If you have any questions or concerns about your payment please email us.
What percentage of each sale goes to Billings Photos artists?
In our effort to bring value back to stock photography our artists retain 70% of the sale, leaving Billings Photos a 30% commission for operating expenses and transaction fees. So, unlike other stock photography companies, not only do our artists get to set their own price, they also get the bulk of the profits.
What categories of images are currently available?
We have many categories available and we're always looking to expand our categories and image selection to better suit your needs. Please visit billings.photos for current category selection. If a category is not listed, please contact us.
What resolution are the photos?
Each photo is different and each artist has their own preference when uploading images to Billings Photos, if the dimensions are not listed and you'd like to know the exact size of an image please contact the artist. The minimum size requirement for photos to be submitted to Billings Photos is 4 mega pixels. The minimum size requirement for video is 1280x720.
